My big chop was on 02 Jan 2014 and today is 22 Jan 2015 so I am a little overdue for these pictures.
This one year of growth has been the best growth journey I have ever had. There is nothing like experiencing the natural texture that god has given me instead of using a relaxer. My hair really grew a lot. And guess what I didn't use tons of growth aides! The only growth aide I can say I have used on and off was Rogaine. I started this to speed up the growth from my HT. I did not use a lot of my favorite hair products. ....I did not use coconut oil, or EVOO and my hair STILL thrived. I noticed the more I left my hair alone, the better. So I think I may be on to something. For the year of 2015 I want to have a BIG ass afro! lol
My Texture: I am still trying to figure this one out but I am definitely a 4C but once moisturized my hair can be so freaking soft and some curls start to form but the curls are nothing to get excited over because they seem to disappear. LOL. But anyway here are my comparison pictures. They are NOT the best but stop tripping on me.... you can see the difference. :)
